Awaken is one evening to come back together. Three hours, just the two of you and a small circle of couples, held in a space built to bring you into deep presence with each other again.

Meet Your Facilitators

We are Kristyn and Stewart Rawson. Husband and wife, and trauma-informed somatic facilitators who have built our own marriage on this work. Fifteen years together and parents to three girls, we know what it takes for a relationship to hold strong through real life. We create the kind of space where you can let your guard down and go there, because we live it ourselves.

Is this going to be awkward?

Most couples arrive a little nervous and settle within the first few minutes. You’re not performing for anyone. The room is held, the lighting is soft, and everyone there wants the same thing you do. You’re guided through every step, so you’re never left wondering what to do next.

My partner is hesitant. Should we still come?

One of you usually books, and the other usually arrives unsure. That’s normal. Nothing is forced, and nothing is shared with the group unless you choose to. The partner who walked in uncertain is often the one who doesn’t want to leave. If they’re willing to come through the door, the evening does the rest.

Is there nudity, or anything sexual?

No. Awaken is fully clothed and entirely consent based. Nothing weird! The intimacy here is emotional and felt, the kind that comes from real mature presence with each other, not physical exposure. You’re never asked to do anything that crosses your comfort, and everything happens between you and your partner at the depth the two of you choose.

Do we need any experience with this kind of work?

None at all. Most couples who come have never done anything like it. Kristyn and Stew guide you through each practice from the very beginning, so there’s nothing to prepare and nothing to get right.

Will we have to talk or share in front of the group?

No. The exercises happen privately between you and your partner. The other couples simply share the space and the atmosphere, never your conversations.

Does it matter how long we've been together?

Not at all. Kids or not kids. Couples come at every stage, newly together, decades in, married or not. The longing for deeper connection doesn’t care how long it’s been.

What is your refund and transfer policy?

We have a no refund policy. If you cancel within 14 days of the event you will receive a credit to the next event.
